We brought our camera up to Hayden with us, but we were losers and didn't take any pictures. We had a great time even though it was such a short visit. Thanksgiving dinner was so good and it was so nice to have all of the Calderwood family together. After a day of eating and more eating we all got together and played this battle kareoke game on Jalyn's playstation which was pretty fun and I sat out and watched when they played guitar hero ( I only like playing games that I am good at). Thanksgiving night was horrible for John and I as I don't think that we got ANY sleep. No joke. I had contractions that were pretty bad and only felt better if I was sitting or walking. The second I laid down I thought I was going to die. After 2 hours and almost deciding to drive home the pain subsided. We were both so tired that we stayed home on Black Friday with the kids and everyone else went shopping. Our dogs ran away (we weren't watching them closely) off into the woods. John went looking for them and then when he came back with no luck, I went searching as well. I was a wreck. I pictured them drowning in the lake (they love the lake and I pictured them just diving in and sinking because of the cold). I thought I lost my dogs forever and could not stop sobbing (good thing everyone was shopping). 3 hours later the dogs came home by themselves. Lucky hurt his foot and was bleeding pretty bad. John made a make-shift bandage sock for him. We drove home later that afternoon without incident. John and I were both looking forward to a night of good sleep now that we were home. I woke up at 2am and smelled something awful...I thought it was our humidifier, but checked on the dogs anyway and found that Chloe got sick and pooped all over the tile AND the rug. So, John and I srubbed down the living room and kitchen until about 3am. So much for sleep. The dogs are healthy now and we seem to be getting back to normal. No baby news yet...hopefully soon.

Nothing like some stress making you want to go the hospital so you can sleep.

Oh man, isn't it really great that your body prepares you for no sleep way before the kid actually arrives?? No? Hmm. Just make sure you sleep in the hospital. It doesn't make you a horrible mother to ask the nurses to take her for a few hours while you sleep. Really, it doesn't. That is their job, just ask Tamar. Get all the sleep you possibly can. Good luck and have fun! Go for the epidural!! Wa hoo! (I would rather have had your yummy chocolate cake than my pumpkin pie triple layer debacle...)

Good Luck with everything. Please let me know when she is here. You look great and asking the nurses to take the baby so you can sleep is soooo nice. Trust me!! Take care
