Our new home
I apologize in advance for the long list of pics...I couldn't get the slide show to cooperate. Anyway, I hope these pics appease the parents. We don't have everything set up and on walls and in perfect order, but we are getting there. We like our house and neighborhood more every day. I have to get used to thinking someone is here whenever I hear a car door, since we live so close to our neighbors. HA! We have taken a few family walks through the trails in our planned community and taken the dogs to a big field right around the corner that backs up to a forest. SO PRETTY! Our neighbors that we have met are really nice. The elem. school is 6 houses down the street and so is our church on the other side of the street! We have walked to church the past 2 weeks and it is really nice. Please come visit.

Kelsi's room. Super cute walls...love the double closets and it has lots of natural light.

Guest room....can't you hear it saying, "Please come visit me".

Sliding glass on to deck. There is a hot tub to the left of the deck, but you know what those look like. I like this picture because we had some friends stay with us for a couple days while they were doing some remodeling to their home and I kept confusing Kelsi and Katelyn from the back. They look so much a like from the back side!

Our kitchen

More kitchen. I love my oven. It's a gas stove top and also has a convection oven feature in the oven! YAY!

The catwalk from the living room

Piano room/office/formal living room/whatever we want it to be room

Entryway

Master bedroom, bed set and dresser on their way.... The master bath is nice with a separate bathroom from the shower/tubs/sink and the walk-in closet is accessible from the bathroom which is nice. It has some nice built ins which help with organization.

Detail of tile in our shower. I like it! I also love the double shower heads. Getting ready in half the time!

View of messy living room from catwalk. I didn't get a pic of it, but that big window has ANOTHER big window on top of it which lets in TONS of natural light. I never have to turn on the lights until the sun goes down.

Guest bath. The shower is a bonus because it has the same ceiling to floor tile.

Catwalk

Hallway to laundry room and another bedroom

Another bedroom. It has a cute green stripe pattern on the walls. We are going to leave it as is for the next baby. (I AM NOT PREGNANT by the way, we just figure we can add brown accents if we have a boy in the future and purple or pink if we have a girl.)

END of CA trip

Kelsi and I had a great time in CA. We are so thankful for family and for all the memories that were made. We celebrated Emma's 7th bday by going to Disneyland!!

Kelsi was pretty shy about it all. She made me hold her on the merry go round. Screamed her head off when I tried to take her on Dumbo and just didn't want to cooperate. Good thing she was free....

Kelsi warmed up a bit. She hung out with her favorite "be-be Kyle".

Got her minnie ears....

Hung out with mom (and "Pa" when mommy wanted to go on rides)

Shared ice cream cones with Abby.
and enjoyed her time with cousins.

The next day we went to visit my Aunt Rachael and went to Griffith Park and let the kids ride horses. Kelsi LOVED it and kept reaching forward to pet her pony.

We took more trips to Yogurtland....(before pic)

(and after)

Had a great sisters night at the Angels game (thanks, Dad!)

I missed John so much while I was gone, but I had SOOOO much fun. I love my sisters so much and my parents are truly the best examples to me. I love you all. Thanks for everything. Can't wait until next time!!

LA Zoo
We went to the zoo and found out that Kelsi only cares about animals with fur (with the hippo being the exception - she kept reaching for him and them saying "Peez, peez"). I didn't take too many pics of the zoo, but Kelsi did a pretty good job. I was done before she was!

SEA WORLD

We took a trip to Sea World this week and had so much fun. This computer is not letting me move my pics around, so they are a little out of order. They had this toddler area that Kelsi just loved. She collected all the blue blocks and brought them over to me. She was so funny.
Kelsi was mesmerized by the Shamu show. She LOVED it.

This is at the end of the night. Kelsi made it the whole day without a melt down and no naps. She just hung out. She isn't even sleeping in this pic. She is just humming to her dolphin that Grandpa Manderino bought her.

HEAVEN for Kelsi!

Feeding the dolphins was always my favorite thing as a kid. Kelsi got very excited when she saw the dolphins, but when I asked her if she wanted to feed them like her cousins, she grabbed me really tight and said "NO!!". She must have thought that I meant that I was going to feed HER to the dolphins.

Back to the beach

We've been back to the beach. I don't think I ever get tired of looking at pic of Kelsi at the beach!

YUM YUMS
We have been eating sooo much while we have been together in CA. Check out these bad boys.... Peanut butter and Chocolate goodness!!! SO good....

Apparently I am good/bad aunt for letting Emma and Abby lick batters. They thought I was pretty cool for letting them lick so much.
We've been going to all my favorite places, like In-n-out, but Shayla introduced me to YOGURTLAND!!! It's this amazing frozen yogurt place where you pick your own yogurt combinations and then pick the toppings you want and then they weigh it and you pay like .30 cents an oz. SOOOO good. I have been back twice. Coeur d'Alene really needs one of these.

Better all the time

Kelsi is finally warming up to everyone...here is proof. (She even cried when Aunt Tamar left to go out on a date with Trevor).

Swinging around with Aunt Shayla

We also went to the beach again. This time we chose Corona Del Mar. In this picture, I asked Kelsi to lie down next to her mommy. She did just as she was told!

Two happy girls

Kelsi was SOOOO sandy. She loves the sand and was covered head to toe in sand.

Hanging out with Grandpa watching the surf.

Adorable...

Kelsi was a little more brave when it came to the water. She got really close and liked to play in the sand right next to the water.

She screams when the water comes. Here she is running away from it.
She preferred to bury her cousin in the sand with Grandpa.

and playing with Baby Kyle of course!

We also took a trip to San Pedro to go to the Aquarium. We were a little early, so we took a walk and snapped a couple pics.

We are having fun, but we sure miss you John!!
